Blood-building dessert

During the process of birth many mothers lose a significant amount of blood. Urge your body to restore its plasma to its prenatal glory with this delicious dessert.

½ teaspoon placenta powder or one 2-inch x 1-inch piece of fresh/frozen whole placenta
1 cup hemp milk (cashew can also be rich enough here)
2 medium beets pre-steamed then frozen
1 cup frozen deep red cherries
½ cup pre-soaked oats
1 dried apricot or fig
½ cup yogurt
One serving of your favorite protein powder (optional)
1 serving bee pollen (optional)

Place all ingredients in the blender. Fill the rest of the blender with fresh spinach greens. Blend on high for a little longer than you might normally process a smoothie. Drink while chilled.
